One person killed in attack on farmer's house near Kuschevskaya

Today in the morning, at about 7:30 a.m., an armed assault undertaken by three unidentified attackers on the house of a farmer in the village of Razdolnoye, Kuschevskaya District of the Krasnodar Territory, resulted in one casualty.

The house was attacked by three men in masks; they roped the victims and stole 10,000 roubles. A relative of the householder was killed. The attackers managed to escape, the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to a law enforcement official.

The crime was reported to the police by a neighbour woman, who came in the morning to the farmer's house and found the victims roped there.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Russian Federation has taken the crime in the Kuschevskaya District under control; now, actions are undertaken in close collaboration with investigators of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) aimed at establishing and detaining the attackers," the "Interfax" reports referring to the spokesman of the MIA's press centre.

The attention of the public and media was attracted by the criminal situation in the village of Kuschevskaya after the massacre committed there in the house of farmer Ametov, where in November 2010 12 persons were killed. Several persons, including Sergey Tsapok, an alleged organizer of the murder, were detained within the massacre case.
