Explosive device neutralized at Chechnya polling station
A powerful explosive device was neutralized at a polling station in the Itum-Kali district, Chechnya. An examination of a polling station in a school led to uncovering a powerful homemade explosive device consisting of a 150-mm, 1.5-m long metal tube filled with 6 kg of TNT and a plastic explosive, the press service for the Internal Affairs Ministry's main authority in the South federal district told RosBusinessConsulting on March 8.
The device was removed to a safe place and destroyed by detonation. Measures are taken to establish people involved in the crime.
