In Azerbaijan, soldier wounded

At the military unit deployed in Tartar, a regular soldier was wounded as a result of an accident. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan.

According to the MoD's information, soldier Vyusal Rovshan oglu Djabiev was wounded by shot made from a service weapon.

"The wounded soldier was brought to a hospital. The accident occurred as a result of violation of safety rules," the "New-Azerbaijan" quotes the MoD's message published on May 1.

Vyusal Rovshan oglu Djabiev was called to active military service from the Nizami District of Baku, the "APA" reports.

The "Caucasia Knot" has reported on the incidents, in which soldiers of the Azerbaijani army were killed or wounded. On April 18, the village of Agdam, soldier Sabukhi Osmanly wounded his two colleagues from a submachine gun. At night on April 19, Raphael Shakhverdiev, a soldier of the Nakhichevan military unit, shot from a service weapon to Senior Lieutenant Elshan Mamedov, the commander of his platoon, who he died in place from the wound. According to the Azerbaijani MoD's information, on April 11, 18-year-old Farman Sarvan oglu Khuseinov died as a result of falling from a third-floor of the military unit dormitory.
