Wife of man sentenced in case of attack on Ingushetia reports his disappearance during his transfer from SIZO to prison

Temur Pareulidze, who was sentenced in the "case of twelve" in 2011, did not arrive to the prison of Minusinsk where he was sent from the Krasnoyarsk SIZO (pre-trial prison). This was reported by his wife Alexandra Zhivaeva. She expresses her concern over the life and health of her husband and asks human rights defenders to take part in the search for him.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Temur Pareulidze was sentenced on February 02, 2011, by the Stavropol Regional Court on the case of the attack on Nazran in 2004.

Alexandra Zhivaeva, the wife of the convicted Temur Pareulidze appealed to the Ingush human rights organization "MASHR" and a number of other human rights and law enforcement organizations and bodies with a statement that she could not find out the whereabouts of her husband. On May 9, Magomed Mutsolgov, the leader of the organization "MASHR", published the Alexandra Zhivaeva's statement in his blog on the "Caucasian Knot".

In her statement, Alexandra Zhivaeva reports that her husband, who was sentenced in 2011 to 20 years of imprisonment in a penal colony of high security, was serving his sentence in the Perm Region; however, on January 14, 2013, he was also sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment regime "as a malicious perpetrator".

On April 22, according to the Alexandra Zhivaeva's statement, Temur Pareulidze was in the SIZO No. 1 of the city of Krasnoyarsk, and he was visited by an advocate. "On April 23, my husband was to be sent by further step to the prison of the city of Minusinsk located at the address of 114, Gorky Street, the city of Minusinsk, the Krasnoyarsk Region, for further serving of his sentence," the wife of the prisoner reports. And she continues: "On April 29, the advocate also visited the prison of Minusinsk. The prison administration gave the answer that my husband had not arrived to their institution."

On the other day, April 30, the administration of the Krasnoyarsk SIZO told the advocate that Temur Pareulidze "had been already taken out of the SIZO several days ago." "On May 6, the advocate again visited the Minusinsk prison, and the administration again reported that the prisoner did not arrive to their institution," the statement reports.

"I fear for the life and health of my husband, and I guess that the prison administration intentionally hides my husband to hide the signs of possible physical violence," writes the wife of the prisoner in her statement addressed to the human rights organizations.
