Meanwhile, according to the information of the Prosecutor's Office, "seizure of the traumatic weapon was not properly registered, and the policemen beaten the man." "The indictment against the former staff members of the ROVD of the Grozny District has been already brought to the court that will pronounce a decision on the merits," the Prosecutor's Office has added.
A representative of the Prosecutor's Office has emphasized that Adlan Abdullaev and Khalis Gunaev are already dismissed from the law enforcement bodies and that if found guilty by the court, the former policemen can face up to ten years of imprisonment.
However, one of the relatives of the victim, who preferred to remain anonymous, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that they managed to bring the policemen to justice only after Abdulvakhit Vashaev met the Chechen Prosecutor.
Earlier, Abdulvakhit Vashaev himself said that the policemen tried to take away his money received from the sale of the car. "They said that I was drunk and that the y would bring me to the police; however, I managed to give the money to my brother, and after that they started beating me and broke my arm.
