Court on Taziev's case in Rostov questions witnesses of bus explosion in Nevinnomyssk
Today, the North-Caucasian Regional Military Court, where Ali Taziev, a native of Ingushetia and one of the leaders of "Imarat Kavkaz", is tried, questioned six witnesses. Their testimonies referred to the explosion of a passenger bus at the bus station of Nevinnomyssk in December 2007.
Let us remind you that Taziev is charged with organizing and directing illegal armed formations (IAFs), whose members were involved in a number of very grave crimes, including the explosion of a passenger bus in Nevinnomyssk; the explosion at the Interior Ministry building in Ingushetia in August 2009, and in the attempt on the head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov. Taziev has pled guilty in part.
Those questioned today included two passenger of the bus blown up in Nevinnomyssk, a resident of the city – an eyewitness of the explosion, and two residents of Pyatigorsk – a taxi driver and a sauna administrator, who saw Zurab Tsuroev, the convict in the case of the explosion on December 9, 2007, on the day of the terror act.
Besides, the testimony of a representative of the company that owned the blasted "Ikarus" bus was heard, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
