Builder Pavel Soloviev from Novosibirsk beaten up in Sochi delivered to his homeland

Builder Pavel Soloviev from Novosibirsk who reported being beaten up by the police personnel in Sochi was moved to a clinic in Novosibirsk. The physicians are currently preparing him for one more operation, Pavel’s wife Veronica Solovieva informed.

The incident that resulted in Pavel Soloviev’s hospitalization took place on April, 3. According to the sufferer himself, he was beaten up by policemen. The physicians state that Pavel Soloviev has a splenic rupture and lost about 2,5 liters of blood. He has had three operations already.

Soloviev was taken to his homeland on May, 20. “Pavel will have to undergo three more operations on his innards”, Veronica Solovieva said to the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent.

A criminal case has not yet been initiated for the reason that forensic medical examination is still going on”, Evgeny Klepikov, Chief of Investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of the Russian Federation in Adler district told the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent.

He explained that the examination was appointed upon a motion of the Investigative Department.

“After getting the results of the examination we are planning to initiate a criminal case according to part 3, clause 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for abuse of authority by an officer of Adler Department of Interior Affairs”, Evgeny Klepikov added.
