17 persons injured during the act of terror in Makhachkala are still staying in hospitals
After the double act of terror that took place on May, 20, near the bailiffs’ office of Makhachkala, 14 persons, a child among them, are still staying in the hospitals of the republic, the Ministry of Public Health of Dagestan reports. Three persons with grave wounding are undergoing treatment in Moscow.
There are currently five persons in the Republican clinic of Makhachkala, four of whom have wounding of light and middle extent of gravity and one is gravely wounded. All the patients’ sate is stable, RIA “Dagestan” referring to a source in the hospital reports.
The child injured by the explosion is in the Children’s republican clinic, three persons were taken to Republican hospital No 2, three more to the Republican orthopedic and traumatology center. One of them is in the resuscitation unit. Two persons are going on treatment in Medical and sanitary unit of the Ministry of Interior Affairs and Federal Security Service, RIA “Novosti” correspondent was told in the Ministry of Public Health.
According to the Ministry of Public Health of the Russian Federation, 38 persons were staying in hospitals as of the afternoon of May, 22, among them three in Moscow clinics.
All in all 52 people got injured and four perished as a result of the explosion. On May, 21, three injured persons with grave missile wounding were taken to the hospitals of Moscow by a special flight of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Meanwhile, the information appeared on May, 21, that at least two persons, a man and a woman, participated in committing the explosion. The investigation arrived at this conclusion based on viewing records of video surveillance cameras.
