Ali Taziev asks court to allow him preparing for sessions with the help of his personal notes

Today, Ali Taziev, a suspect of committing an attempt on the head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov and organizing terror acts, has asked the court to allow him to use his personal notes.

According to Ali Taziev, every day he is brought to the courthouse at 8:00 a.m. Moscow time, but "the convoy takes away his notebook for records, not allowing him to read and prepare for the session." In this regard, the defendant asked the court to give him an opportunity to work with his notes.

Taziev is also against the police copying the content of his notebook in this way or other.

A convoy has refuted Taziev's allegations. "The defendant is brought not at 8:00 a.m., as he claims, but later. Since the defendant is known to all, we have to use increased security measures – he should have no extra items on him. Nobody prevents him getting ready for the sessions, while he asserts that we rewrite or Xerox his notes. I can state with full responsibility that we don't do it," he explained.

The Presiding Judge Oleg Volkov has promised Taziev to provide him with an opportunity to get ready for court sessions by using his notes.
