Magomed Magomedov who disappeared in Georgia had left Dagestan because of conflicts with the police, his sister reports

So far, the whereabouts of Magomed Magomedov, a native of Dagestan, who disappeared on April 16 in Tbilisi, is unknown. Magomedov had left Russia because of problems with law enforcers, his sister Khadizhat asserts.

According to Khadizhat Magomedova, who lives in the village of Mogilyovskoe, Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, her brother went missing on April 16. She learned about it from Anastasia Bogdanova, Magomed's wife.

Khadizhat has turned for help to the human rights organization "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy); however, as she said, so far, nothing is known about Magomed.

It became know from the sister's story that Magomed had lived at the Bayram station next to Mogilyovskoe, but moved to Georgia two years ago because of problems with local law enforcers.

"Policemen of the Khasavyurt District didn't leave him alone; any incident - and Magomed was immediately summoned to the police station; his house was searched. Policemen insulted him and his wife. When Anastasia was pregnant, one of them pointed a submachine gun into her stomach and asked, 'Are you wearing a bomb there?'," said Khadizhat Magomedova.

She also reported that her brother's family strictly followed all Islamic regulations; her brother took care of two minor children.
