Ministry of Public Health of Dagestan: 19 people were hospitalized after explosion in Makhachkala
After the explosion near the MIA building in Makhachkala on May 25, 19 victims were hospitalized; 13 of them are still there, said the spokesman of the Ministry of Public Health of Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 25, an explosion at the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in Makhachkala was triggered by a female suicide bomber. According to the police, 15 people were wounded; while according to unofficial information, there were 18 victims. Later, a woman died in hospital.
According to the updated information of the Ministry of Public Health of Dagestan, just after the explosion 19 people were hospitalized; 13 of them remain in hospitals; and three are under outpatient treatment.
"To date, the condition of three out of the 13 hospitalized patients is grave but stable; their lives are out of danger. The rest of them have medium and light traumas," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the local Ministry of Public health today.
