In Makhachkala, group of armed men kidnaps Dagestani resident, his wife reports
Today, Nazirbek Nazhmudinov, a resident of the village of Tyube of the Kumtorkali District of Dagestan, was beaten and kidnapped in Makhachkala by a group of armed men. This was reported by his wife Aishat Magomedova.
According to her story, in the morning, Nazirbek went in his car to Makhachkala, where he worked, doing forging. His wife became aware of his kidnapping at about 02:00 p.m.
"Eyewitnesses reported that when my husband approached the place of his work, another two cars drove up following him, and six armed men ran out of the cars. They broke the glass of the husband's car with a truncheon and forced my husband out of his car. Then they beat him and forced him into one of their cars, and then they drove him away to some unknown destination," the woman told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Aishat Magomedova also reported that there were traces of blood at the scene. "The persons who kidnapped my husband also drove away his car," the woman has added.
The wife of the kidnapped man argues that Nazirbek is a strictly practicing Muslim, he was not registered at the police station, and their family has two minor children. Aishat Magomedova has also noted that she sent the appeal for help to Dagestani leader Ramazan Abdulatipov, the Prosecutor, the Head of the Investigating Department of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) for Dagestan, the Ombudsman of Dagestan, and Aisha Selimkhanova, the leader of the Dagestani Regional Public Organization (DRPO) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy).
