In Ingushetia, power agents plant IED on local resident, his relatives assert
During the search, an improvised explosive device (IED) was planted to Uruskhan Karadjev, a resident of the village of Surkhakhi of the Nazran District of Ingushetia, who was detained today. This was reported by his brother Magomed. The law enforcement bodies do not confirm the information.
According to the Magomed Karadjev's story, at about 09:00 a.m., the house of 27-year Uruskhan Karadjev was approached by power agents. They said that they were checking the compliance with the passport regime and went into the yard.
"They accompanied the Uruskhan's wife and children out of the house and did not allow anyone to enter the house for two hours," Magomed Karadjev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Then, according to the Magomed Karadjev's story, the power agents brought a bucket to the yard, saying that it stood under an awning at the Uruskhan's place.
"Then, they brought their witnesses. We do not know who their witnesses are. The power agents drove Uruskhan away, and we do not know to where he was brought and what they do with him. We have appealed to the administration of the leader of the republic; however, no results followed," the detainee's brother says.
Officials from the unit on duty of the OMVD (Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) of the Nazran District told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that Uruskhan Karadjev was detained by staff members of the FSB Department and recommended to contact them for information. A FSB officer on duty said that he knew nothing of the detainee.
