Karabakh war death-roll published in Armenia
Lists of all Armenians killed during the Karabakh war of 1988-1994 were published in Armenia on March 16. Names of 7,000 victims appeared in central newspapers in Armenian and Russian. The publication is arranged within the limits of preparation of the encyclopedia "The Artsakh War: 1988-1994" (Editor's note: Artsakh is the Armenian name for Karabakh), which will hold detailed information about all combats, the partisan movement, and prominent fighters. Besides, staff maps used during the war will be declassified.
The encyclopedia is being created on the initiative of the Armenian and Karabakh Interior Ministries, and the Armenian Academy of Sciences.
