Local resident disappears in Dagestan, his wife reports
A resident of Buynaksk Gadjimurad Ilyasov was taken away to some unknown place by armed men in masks, his wife has reported. A source from law enforcement bodies said that Ilyasov was detained and is checked for involvement of the armed underground.
Gadjimurad Ilyasov left home on May 22, Karina Nurasulova told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. On the same day, she turned to a Gadjimurad's friend for help in finding him.
"He drove over the city and found Gadjimurad's car," said Nurasulova.
They managed to talk to the eyewitnesses of the kidnapping. "Armed men dressed in civilian clothes and in masks dragged Gadjimurad out of his car, pushed into one of their cars and drove to some unknown place," said the woman.
Relatives turned to the Buynaksk GOVD (City Interior Division), where they were told that Ilyasov had not been brought there.
However, a source at the GOVD has confirmed the fact of the detention, saying that Ilyasov was checked for his links with illegal armed formations (IAFs).
