Nizhny Novgorod rehabilitation school receives deaf children from Chechnya

10 deaf children between the ages of 8 and 14 from the republican boarding school of Grozny came to the Nizhny Novgorod rehabilitation school Nordis, reported the press service of the Moskovsky district administration, Nizhny Novgorod.

The school staff sought help in arranging the cultural program for the guests and received it. The children will go to a puppet theatre and to the children's theatre Vera. The Moskovsky district administration found a bus to arrange a trip for them to the Gorodetskaya Rospis factory. The local House of Sport "Polyot" gave the guests the opportunity to use a swimming pool and a large gymnasium.

Sports actions, computer lessons, correction studies, and lessons in choreography will also be arranged for the children.

This is the second visit of children from Chechnya, reported the press service.

The action was initiated by the Society for Russian-Chechen Friendship. Both the trips were sponsored by the Moscow-based Fund for the Support of Democracy and Social Progress, headed by Husein Jabrailov.

  • Two natives of Northern Caucasus injured in shootout near “Wildberries” office in Moscow
