Armed group captures bus with civilians in Abkhazia's Gali district
On April 7, the Abkhazian side brought a 50-strong armed group into the zone of the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict, which is under control of the Russian peacekeeping force, Georgian TV Company Rustavi 2 reported referring to its sources in the conflict zone.
According to the report, the armed group was brought into the Gali district of Abkhazia and stays there now. Members of the group captured a bus with civilians, which was going from the neighboring Zugdidi district, Western Georgia, to the town of Gali. It happened on April 7.
The women and children who were in the bus were let go, and about 50 men were made get out and were conveyed to the town of Ochamchira, reported Rustavi 2.
