Security reinforced on administrative border between Georgia and Adjaria
The security at the administrative border between Georgia and Adjaria on the Choloki River has been reinforced since the autonomy's parliament decided to introduce a state of emergency and curfew in the autonomous republic. The car traffic along the bridge across the river was suspended in the morning of April 25. The Georgian side has shifted units of the country's interior troops and military equipment there on April 26. The traffic along the bridge over Choloki was resumed at 9 a.m. today, but it is under the authorities' close control.
