Armenian opposition resumes meetings
After a ten-day break, the Armenian opposition held a new meeting on May 14 demanding that President Robert Kocharian should resign. Representatives of the Justice political bloc who addressed the meeting confirmed again that the resignation of President Robert Kocharian remained the main demand of the opposition. As estimated by the organizers, approximated 25 thousand people participated in the meeting. According to other sources, there were no more that 7-8 thousand participants.
The opposition is going to hold protest actions in Armenian regions during the next week and to organize a march to the residence of President Kocharian on May 21, after the next meeting in the capital, reported secretary of the parliamentary faction of the Justice bloc Viktor Dallakian.
