Victims of shootout in Ingushetia were involved in terrorism, authorities assert
Ramzan Makhauri, Ramzan Gagaev and Amerkhan Amatkhanov, killed on Sunday in Ingushetia, were wanted on suspicion of involvement in terror acts and attempts on power agents, sources in law enforcement bodies of the republic have reported.
Earlier, it was reported about an armed clash in a street of the village of Ordjonikidzevskaya, during which power agents killed three suspected members of the armed underground.
The police tried to stop a car, but people opened fire from inside and were killed by return fire of power agents, the "Interfax" quotes its Ingush law enforcement source. Firearms and ammunition was found in the car.
No details of the crimes allegedly committed by the casualties are reported yet.
