Power agents have begun letting advocate to visit Magomed Aushev, a resident of the village of Ekazhevo, detained after shooting at the wedding party. However, no members of the Public Oversight Commission (POC) are still allowed to visit Aushev.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 20 in Ingushetia, Magomed Aushev, a resident of the Ingush village of Ekazhevo, Nazran District, was detained as a suspect of shooting from a wedding convoy. After detention Aushev was tortured and beaten up, his brother Murad Aushev said. On December 22, in the courtroom, during consideration of Magomed Aushev's freedom restraint measure, the defendant fainted and was hospitalized in grave condition.
On December 23, Magomed Mutsolgov, the head of the human rights organization "MASHR" and the Ingush POC and an author of a blog on the "Caucasian Knot", could not visit Magomed Aushev in the hospital.
According to Mutsolgov, he is still unable to visit Magomed Aushev, since he is not admitted to the special ward. According to his story, bosses of the local Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) "do not answer telephone calls."
At the same time, Murad Aushev said that from December 29 power agents began admitting investigators and advocates Toma Tsechoeva and Madina Dakhkilgova.
