Two residents of Dagestan detained on suspicion of undermining motor convoy
Law enforcers of Dagestan have detained two local residents suspected of involvement in the bomb explosion during the travel of police cars in the Untsukul District. According to power agents, the detainees had two accomplices.
The improvised explosive device (IED) was triggered on December 12, 2014, at the 4th km of the highway "Vremenny-Shamilkala”. The bomb went off at the roadside, when a police motor column, consisting of "Ural" and "KamAZ", was moving by.
On December 31, 2014, two residents of the village of Kharachi, Untsukul District, were brought to the police; according to law enforcers, they confessed of their involvement in the explosion and were detained.
Their two alleged accomplices have been put on the federal wanted list, says website of the MIA of Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that earlier law enforcement sources reported about undermining of three police cars in the Untsukul District, committed in the morning on December 14, 2014.
