Azerbaijani MoD refutes information about its losses in Karabakh conflict zone

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has treated as misinformation the report released by its counterpart of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) about the death of its soldiers last night at the contact line.

The "Caucasian Knot" has informed that the MoDs of Azerbaijan and the NKR declared numerous acts of shelling of their positions within the last 24 hours. At the same time, according to the Karabakh party, three Azerbaijani soldiers were killed in the conflict area as a result of response fire.

The information about the death of three soldiers of the Azerbaijani army is a lie, said today the press service of the MoD of Azerbaijan.

The "Trend" News Agency reports with reference to the MoD of Azerbaijan that the information about the casualties among Azerbaijanis during a shootout at night on January 6 on the frontline, disseminated by the Armenian party has misinformation character.
