Suspects of attacking money collectors in Moscow detained in Dagestan

Three residents of the Buynaksk and Derbent Districts of Dagestan have been detained and placed in custody on charges of an assault on money collectors in Moscow.

The detention took place on January 14 by Moscow policemen, supported by their colleagues from the local criminal investigatory division.

The detainees' age is from 23 to 28 years; and they have already seen the charges; and the court has sanctioned their arrest.

The attack on cash collectors, of which the detainees are suspected, was committed on October 29, 2014, in Volgograd Avenue of Moscow. Four robbers, threatening with a pistol, attacked the collectors, leaving the building of the car dealership. They punched one of them and took away three bags with 46.8 million roubles in them.

One more suspect is still being searched, the "Interfax" reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Dagestan also saw attacks on money collectors. One such incident occurred in October 2012 in the Botlikh District, where a collectors' car was attacked; and 13.5 million roubles intended for the payment of pensions was stolen.
