Resident of North Ossetia claims violation of his rights by Iraf District FSIN officials
The Department of the Federal Penitentiary Service (known as FSIN) for the Iraf District of North Ossetia fails to fulfill the court's decision on parole of Akhsar Tseboev, a resident of North Ossetia, sentenced to conditional punishment for public calls inciting hatred on grounds of nationality. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Akhsar Tseboev himself. The FSIN Department for the Iraf District claims that till present, they have not received the court's decision.
According to the website of the Iraf District Court of North Ossetia, the decision on parole of Akhsar Tseboev was announced by the Court on December 1, 2014.
"It is the fault of the FSIN Department that the information on the completion of the sentence has not been directed to the information centre and that I am still serving a sentence. For that reason, my son cannot obtain a residence permit in Moscow, and he does not go to school for the second week. And I myself cannot obtain a foreign passport," Akhsar Tseboev has told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Akhsar Tseboev also believes that by its failure to act, the FSIN Department for the Iraf District violates his rights.
He has noted that he has not yet filed any complaints about the inaction of officials to the supervisory authorities; however, he "intends to appeal to the Prosecutor's Office to complain about the fact of abuse of power, inaction of an official, and violation of rights."
