Parties in Karabakh conflict fix over 400 ceasefire violations

As stated by the NKR Defence Army, on January 27, and at night on January 28, Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire in the conflict zone for about 300 times. According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD), the Armenian party shelled their position for 113 times within the last 24 hours.

The NKR asserts that Azerbaijan fired more than 7000 shots from various-calibre small arms.

In its turn, the Azerbaijani MoD's said about shelling of its positions deployed in the villages of the Agstafa, Khojavend, Fizuli and Jebrail Districts, as well as on the nameless heights in the Gazakh and Gadabay Districts.

The "Trend" News Agency reports, with reference to the Azerbaijani MoD, that its soldiers opened returned fire.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the parties to the conflict are regularly accusing each other of breaking the ceasefire.
