Armenia's MoD refutes information about downed drone
The information about the shooting down by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces of an Armenian drone over the area of the Karabakh conflict is untrue, said Artsrun Ovannisyan, the spokesman of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenia.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on Thursday the Azerbaijani MoD announced that at 2:00 p.m., over the positions of Azerbaijani troops on the contact line in Nagorno-Karabakh, an unmanned aircraft of the Armed Forces of Armenia was shot down.
"This information has nothing to do with reality," said Artsrun Ovannisyan, the press secretary of the MoD of Armenia, as quoted by the "News-Armenia".
Let us remind you that on November 12, in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, an Armenian military helicopter was downed. The death of three crew members was reported. According to the MoD of Azerbaijan, the helicopter was shot down while trying to attack the Azerbaijani positions. According to the MoD of the NKR, it was shelled during a training flight.
