Magomed Davudov, resident of Stalsky village, disappears in Dagestan

Magomed's relatives have reported the disappearance of this resident of the village of Stalsky, Kizilyurt District, suggesting that could be kidnapped for his religious views.

Since January 29, Davudov's relatives try to establish his whereabouts.

"In the morning on January 29, Magomed was seen off his home to work by his wife. He was to go to Makhachkala, where he was making repairs in the house of our fellow villager. However, he never reached the place. About the lunch time, his wife tried to get through to him, but his both phones were already off by that time," Umar, a cousin of the missing person, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to their story, Davudov's relatives turned to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) with an application about his disappearance.

According to the relatives, Magomed did not receive any threats, and he had no problems with the law. At the same time they noted that Davudov was "a strictly practicing Muslim; he has a long beard; and his wife and daughter are wearing hijabs."
