NKR's police checking beating up of "Pre-Parliament" activists
Policemen are clearing up the circumstances of the incident with beating up of supporters of the "Pre-Parliament"; a decision to open a criminal case will be made on the outcomes of the check, Felix Arutyunyan, the head of the press service of the police under the Government of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Let us remind you that Kerob Kazaryan and Mkhitar Avetisyan, supporters of the "Pre-Parliament" of Armenia, were hospitalized after being attacked in the NKR on January 31. Two other supporters – Gnel Ambartsumyan and Maisik Badasyan – also turned to hospital for medical care, but refused from hospitalization.
Djulietta Arustamyan, the wife of Kerob Kazaryan, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that "the police came to the hospital after her husband demanded that hospital staff called law enforcers."
"My husband demanded that the police came to make records, but nobody fixed the bodily injuries, as there was no medical expert with the policemen," says Djulietta Arustamyan.
On the same day, both activists were sent home by hospital doctors. According to relatives, they did not turn to the police against their attackers.
