Court leaves BORN activists in custody until May 14

Today, the Moscow Regional Court (MRC) has ruled to leave four activists of the "Combat Organization of Russian Nationalists" (known as BORN) in custody until May 14, 2015.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the figurants in the BORN case are Maxim Baklagin, Vyacheslav Isaev, Mikhail Volkov and Yuri Tikhomirov, who are accused of committing a series of killings in 2008-2010 in Moscow.

By ruling to extend their custody, the Judge of the MRC Alexander Kozlov has granted the respective prosecutors' petition, motivating that the judicial investigation against the above four defendants has not yet been completed' while the grounds for placing them into custody have not dropped off or changed.

The defendants' advocates expressed their objection. In particular, one of them noted that "no new details have been announced today; and they are not at all present."
