Kuban former Vice-Governor Alexander Ivanov arrested for two months
The Pervomaisky District Court of Krasnodar has announced the decision to arrest for two months Alexander Ivanov, the former Vice-Governor of the Krasnodar Territory.
The "Caucasian Knot" has informed that yesterday, on February 4, it was reported on the detention on February 2 of Alexander Ivanov and Vadim Lukoyanov, the Minister of Natural Resources and the Vice-Governor of the Krasnodar Territory. The reason for the detention of the officials was not disclosed. On the same day, the Court arrested Vadim Lukoyanov for two months.
At the request of investigator for particularly important cases of the Investigating Department for Krasnodar of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), Alexander Ivanov was taken into custody until April 4.
The court hearing in the case against Alexander Ivanov, like in the case against Vadim Lukoyanov, was held behind closed doors on February 4, the "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" reports.
