OSCE mission reveals no ceasefire violations in Karabakh conflict zone
The monitoring, held on February 10 by the OSCE mission on the contact line of the armed forces of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) and Azerbaijan, passed without incidents.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the NKR's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) had informed about the upcoming OSCE monitoring of contact line near the village of Seysulan, the Martakert District of the NKR.
On the Azerbaijani side, the monitoring was conducted by Jiri Aberle and Simon Tiller, field assistants of the personal representative of the Acting OSCE Chairman; and on the NKR's side – by field assistants Hristo Hristov, Evgeny Sharov and Peter Svedberg, the "Interfax-Azerbaijan" reports.
However, as noted by the "NEWS.am", the Azerbaijani party did not take the OSCE mission to its frontline positions.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the NKR's Ministry of Defence (MoD) accused Azerbaijan of more than 1200 shots fired during the week of February 1-7. In its turn, the Azerbaijani MoD reported, on the daily basis, the shelling by the Armenian party of its positions in different frontline sections.
