Soldier lost in NKR is 22nd casualty of Karabakh conflict since start of 2015
Against the background of the OSCE monitoring, whose mission has fixed no violations of the ceasefire in the conflict zone, and the demand of Azerbaijani political scientists to change the format of the mission, a soldier of the NKR's Defence Army was killed. He is at least the 22nd casualty among militaries in the conflict area since the start of 2015 – these are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 10 the OSCE mission conducted monitoring of the contact line of the armed forces of the NKR and Azerbaijan did not reveal any ceasefire violations. On the same day, Baku hosted a roundtable on the topic: "OSCE Minsk Group: Inability or Limited Mandate?", where Azerbaijani politicians demanded to add the Group with Co-Chairs from Germany and Turkey.
On February 10, as reported by the MoD of the NKR, a soldier Tigran Simonyan was mortally wounded, while on duty in one of the units of the NKR's Defence Army.
