Chechen child injured in grenade blast
An 11-year-old boy suffered in a grenade blast in the village of Chervlyonnaya, Chechnya's Shelkovskaya district, the regional headquarters on the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus reported on Monday, May 24. The child was taken to a village hospital with numerous missile wounds. "He said he was injured because of casual handling of a round to an underbarrel grenade-launcher, which he had found on a bank of the Terek River and taken to the yard of his house," a spokesmen for the headquarters explained. This fact is under examination now.
