President of North Osetia proposes placing new item on agenda of Russian-Georgian talks
President of North Osetia Aleksandr Dzasokhov offers to include guarantees that force will not be used against South Osetia in the sphere of the Russian-Georgian talks. "We forecast developments, and we have no reason to think that a campaign with spiny roses comes into the picture," Mr Dzasokhov said at a press conference in Moscow.
"It would be good to include in the sphere of the Russian-Georgian talks the guarantee that force will not be used against South Osetia under any condition," the North Osetian president said. Besides, he pointed out that the parliamentary elections recently held in South Osetia were absolutely legitimate.
