Chechen refugees abducted in Ingushetia

Four Chechen refugees living in a private house in the village of Nesterovskaya, Ingushetia's Sunzha district, were abducted by officers of Russian security agencies a few days ago. Witnesses of the happening say a helicopter landed in the vicinity of the village in the afternoon on May 24. The military men who came out of it rushed into one house and captured five people who were in it - four young men and a girl.

The military men made all the detainees go to the helicopter. Then they let the girl go and loaded the four young men onto the combat vehicle. Then the helicopter flew away in the direction of Chechnya. The name of only one of the four detained men is known today. He is Aslan Shabazov, whose age is between 28 and 30. Names of the other abducted men are being ascertained. It is unknown what reason the Russian military men had to capture four refugees from the Chechen republic on the territory of Ingushetia.
