Journalist Anna Gritsevich and ecologist Vladimir Kimaev are charged with disobeying to Sochi policemen, when the latter performed their official duties.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Kimaev and Gritsevich were detained this afternoon in Sochi when they inspected an unauthorized dump. They were released from the police department of Sochi at about 8:00 p.m., said their advocate Alexander Popov, adding that they were released under the obligation to come to the consideration of the materials of their administrative case, which is scheduled for tomorrow at the Adler District Court at 10 in the morning.

The ecologist and the journalist were detained "in connection with a violation of the Code of Administrative Offences," said the on duty officer at police station of "Blinovo", adding that “the court will appoint the punishment, apparently, a fine."

Vladimir Kimaev and Anna Gritsevich went to the unauthorized dump after a complaint received from the head of the village of Akhshtyr, said Roman Shikarev, the leader of the Movement “Law and Order". According to local residents, under the order of the Sochi Mayoralty, they are dumping the garbage collected after the flooding within the territory of their village.
