IFEX holds conference in Baku

An annual conference of the International Freedom of Expression Exchange (IFEX) opened in Baku on June 14. Representatives of media organizations from more than 50 countries are attending it. In her speech, IFEX Convenor Ann Cooper, New York, reported on the situation with freedom of expression in the world.

The conference will last till June 18. Participants are discussing problems with freedom of expression, censorship in Internet, anti-terrorism, and organizational questions.
