Yunus-Bek Evkurov calls on militants' relatives to persuade them to surrender

At the meeting with family members of militants of illegal armed formations (IAFs), Ingush leader Yunus-Bek Evkurov has asked them to help their relatives to lay down arms and surrender to the law enforcement bodies.

On October 25, when talking to the Ingush families in the village of Sunzha, Yunus-Bek Evkurov has noted that about two dozen residents of the republic are wanted for involvement in terrorist activities.

"Sooner or later, your guys will be found, as law enforcers are engaged in the operational activities for their detection. However, in case if they listen in due time to you, to the persuasion of the leader of the republic and law enforcement officials, we guarantee to keep them alive and assist them in adapting to civilian life. I urge you to understand the gravity of the moment and persuade your relatives to lay down arms and surrender," Yunus-Bek Evkurov has stated as quoted by the official website of the Republic of Ingushetia.
