Two law enforcers detained in case of Vladimir Tskaev's death of Vladikavkaz

In North Ossetia, two staff members of the Criminal Investigation Department of Vladikavkaz are detained on suspicion of abuse of power and use of violence.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 2, the North Ossetian MIA announced that at night of November 1, Vladimir Tskaev, a 39-year-old resident of Vladikavkaz, who was suspected of wounding a policeman from a firearm, died at the Republican Clinical Hospital. According to the North Ossetian MIA, the man had "injured himself" during his interrogation. According to his relatives, Vladimir Tskaev died from torture.

"30-year-old and 34-year-old staff members of the Criminal Investigation Police Department for the city of Vladikavkaz of the Russian MIA are detained on suspicion of committing a crime," reports Eduard Gusov, Senior Assistant to the Head of the Investigating Department for North Ossetia.

In the course of the investigation, forensic medical and forensic biological examinations are scheduled, and records from surveillance cameras are seized.
