Vladikavkaz, Tskhinvali discuss joint tactics
Joint tactics of Vladikavkaz and Tskhinvali in case of a new conflict with Tbilisi was under discussion during the June 7 visit of President of North Osetia - Alania Aleksandr Dzasokhov to South Osetia.
The visit of the North Osetian president to Tskhinvali is connected with the recent worsening of the situation and actions of the Georgian side, stated Irina Gagloyeva, head of the information department of the South Osetian government.
North Osetian Interior Minister Murat Dzantiyev visited South Osetia together with President Dzasokhov. He promised considerable material and technical support to the South Osetian police.
Official Tbilisi has made no protest concerning the visit of the head of one of Russia's administrative districts to the breakaway republic so far, though Mr Dzasokhov's visit was not approved by the Georgian leadership.
