Consequences of gas pipeline explosion liquidated
Directors of Kaspiygazprom Company claim that the reconstruction work to liquidate consequences of a Mozdok-Kazimagomed gas pipeline explosion has been completed. The explosion took place at an aerial crossing across the Terek River on July 5. Approximately 460 meters of the aerial crossing were completely wrecked and the supply of gas to Dagestan and Azerbaijan was cut off.
The main problem was that this section of the pipeline is situated on the territory of the Chechen Republic. But Chechengazprom Company does not have enough technical resources to reconstruct the aerial crossing.
Now the supply of gas to Azerbaijan and districts of Dagestan is resumed.
