OKL protests against arrival of Armenian deputies
The participation of representatives from Armenia in the seminar of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Baku set for 26-28 November has not been cancelled, and the seminar will be conducted in time, the Caucasian Knot correspondent was told in the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry. "In view of the fact that the Armenian delegation will consist of parliamentarians, i.e. civilians, their visit to Baku mustn't be a reason for serious protests. The Armenian deputies' arrival can't be compared to the arrival of Armenian servicemen, who took part in the occupation of Azerbaijan lands," the Ministry's official said.
However Chairman of the Organization of Karabakh Liberation (OKL) Akif Nagi stated only those representatives of Armenia could come to Azerbaijan who recognize the country's territorial integrity.
