Death toll after explosion in cafe "Laili" reaches 10 people

In a Moscow hospital, two other women injured in the explosion in the Makhachkala cafe "Laili" have died. It is reported by the "Komsomolskaya Pravda in Northern Caucasus" with reference to the press service of the Dagestani Ministry of Public Health (MPH).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the explosion in the banquet hall "Laili" took place in Makhachkala on August 1. 27 people were injured. According to the Dagestani MPH, as at August 9, eight victims died of burns in the hospitals of Makhachkala and Moscow.

According to experts from the Joint-Stock Company (JSC) "Gazprom Gas Distribution Makhachkala", the explosion in Makhachkala could be caused by corrosion on a gas cylinder body.

Both the deceased women stayed in a coma at the Research Institute named after Vishnevsky. One of them died on August 11, and another one on the day before, the "Life" reports.
