Chechen migrants refuse to participate in presidential election

100 out of 200 migrants from Chechnya officially registered in Dagestan have a vote (the others are children aged under 16), a source in the Dagestani Interior Ministry told the Caucasian Knot correspondent. The republican migration service allotted transport to give these people an opportunity to participate in the election of the Chechen president, but all questioned Chechens said they were unwilling to participate in the voting. So Chechens officially registered in Dagestan do not want to vote, and unregistered refugees do not have a vote at all.
