Andi residents report explosion in village outskirt

According to unconfirmed information of the locals, power agents have blown up a blindage in the outskirt of the Dagestani village of Andi, which is under the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime for the fifth day already.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the CTO regime is on in the village of Andi, Botlikh District, from February 7. Power agents checked passports, but in general, the villagers, as they said, did not feel any problems because of the CTO.

Today, in the area of the hillside in the outskirts of Andi an explosion occurred, said the locals.

"As far as we know, law enforcers found a militants’ blindage (dugout). It was empty, but they say that it was equipped for hiding several persons," said one of the villagers.
