Azerbaijan authorities consider HRW report biased
Commenting on the latest report published by Human Rights Watch (HRW), deputy executive secretary of the ruling Yeni Azerbaijan party Bakhar Muradova said to the Caucasian Knot correspondent that the report of the human rights organization was biased against Azerbaijan. It is worth reminding that in the report, Human Rights Watch lays strictures on actions of the Azerbaijan authorities and mentions numerous violations of human rights. "The criticism leveled in the report against Azerbaijan is groundless since processes stated in the report took place before the very eyes of the country's citizens and international organizations," the Yeni Azerbaijan member said.
However director of the Institute of Peace and Democracy Leyla Yunus considers the latest HRW report on Azerbaijan quite unbiased and based on real facts.
