Acquaintance of Saint Petersburg terrorist detained
According to the Russian Federal Security Bureau (FSB), on May 11, its agents detained in Moscow Mukhamadyusup Ermatov, a native of Central Asia. According to investigators, he was involved in illegal circulation of explosives and had to do with Akbarjon Jalilov.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the terror act committed in Saint Petersburg metro on April 3 killed 16 people, including the suicide bomber; 102 persons were wounded.
According to investigators, the explosion was triggered by a native of Kyrgyzstan Akbarjon Jalilov and organized by Abror Azimov, a native from Central Asia; he was detained. As of April 19, ten persons were detained in connection with the terror act.
"A complex of operative and investigative actions is underway to check Ermatov's involvement in the terror act," says the statement posted on the FSB's website.
Earlier, the grouping "Katiba al-Imam Shamil", linked with the organization Al-Qaeda, banned in Russia by the court, claimed responsibility for the terror act.
