Ramzan Kadyrov gives his word
Ramzan Kadyrov severely criticises the process of investigation into the terrorist act on 9 May last year in which his father Akhmat Kadyrov who was then president of the republic and State Council Chairman Hussein Isayev were killed.
"Neither the military nor the civil prosecutor's offices are investigating this case. We are running an investigation of our own and we are going to disclose the information about who committed that crime by 9 May," Interfax cites.
Six people died on 9 May 2004 in a powerful explosion under a guest stand during a Victory Day celebration in Grozny's Dinamo stadium, including Akhmat Khadyrov and State Council Chairman Hussein Isayev. A total of more than 80 people suffered.
It should be noted Ramzan Kadyrov has also more than once promised by 9 May to find and destroy Chechen warlord Shamil Basayev who claimed responsibility for the Dinamo attack.
