Killed rebels statistics
Chechnya's law enforcement and security agencies have destroyed 30 active members of illegal armed formations since the beginning of the year. According to Novosti news agency, these statistics were given by Internal Affairs Minister Ruslan Alkhanov of Chechnya.
The minister said 92 rebels had been detained over the mentioned period and eight "persuaded to give themselves up."
Five illegal armed formations and 45 caches with weapons and outfit have been revealed and eliminated, Alkhanov says.
